INITIAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE HORTEN IV
When the Horten IV was first tested by the DFS in 1943 in comparison flights with the D-30 "Cirrus", it showed very good performance indeed, however, it's best glide ratio fell short of the estimated one: (L/Dmax = 32, instead of 37)
