The Storch III was an improved version of the Storch II, make by using a hexagonal fuselage to provide better directional stability, and by fixing the II's free-pivoting end plates with fixed plates and adjustable rudders.
Aileron responsiveness was still insufficient. The aileron's were modified, and this became the Storch IV.Storch III
